Becki Newton

Becki was raised in Guilford Connecticut. When she was 13 and began acting in local productions, including the community theater and summer stock. As she studied European History at Penn, she also spent several semesters in Europe. Becki moved immediately to NYC after graduation in order in order to take on Broadway. After performing in numerous national commercials and guest starring roles such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she was cast as Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). She is married to the actor Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. They're gorgeous, but they're not models of the highest caliber. It's an honor that I'm not worrying about events on the red carpet or work, since I'm not a professional. Yet, I'm no squeamish about taking risks in the realm of beauty. Glamour can be fun!
