Sasha first announced to be transgender in high school. The family of Sasha was supportive during the tough times, and she knew that she was capable of doing anything with music. Jim and Sasha have both written songs and recently became an official duo. They have played at open mics in the local area in addition to other venues. Although The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim talked about their lives in a video introduction before their show. They spoke about their most loved music and Sasha's first guitar. His father is a musician teacher, which made learning the art form easier for Sasha. Sasha was a victim of identity problems as a boy, even being a woman. In an Instagram post from last week, Sasha opened up about the struggles he had to face. Jim was overwhelmed with emotion as he outlined his motives for not being in a position to assist in these tough moments. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born as a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha came out in the first year of high school and began transitioning from male to female. Sasha shared his Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third transgender person transgendered gender who has appeared in the program. I'm so grateful to represent this group of people."
