Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actor. She has starred in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin is born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industries. Martin as well as being a skilled dancer and actress, is also a successful ballet photographer. The mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus representative and promotes awareness of the disease daily since the loss of her sister, who was 19 years old.
